Deployment of wireless networks is set to increase in 64 per cent of businesses over the next year, research from analyst Gartner suggests, as 44 per cent of respondents said mobility will improve productivity.
One-fifth (21 per cent) of respondents said the primary reason this will happen is to access places that are impossible to wire, while 13 per cent said it is cheaper than installing a fixed-line network.
