First RFID Virus, now RFID DOS attacks

This seems to be the season for RFID-related scares. Following in the footsteps of the researchers in Belgium, researchers at Australia's Edith Cowan University have found a critical fault with Generation One Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags.

The US Department of Defense is a big user of these tags. These Gen. 1 tags operate in the 902-938 MHz range. RFID Gazette: First RFID Virus, now RFID DOS attacks
