If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. That seems to be Microsoft’s motto anyway… month
after month. Today, Microsoft released their advance notification alert for July. The advanced notice warns of seven security bulletins and patches that Microsoft will release next Tuesday, July 11.
The seven flaws include:
* Four flaws affecting Microsoft Windows, some rated Critical.
* Three flaws in Microsoft Office, at least one rated Critical.
Microsoft usually lumps Internet Explorer (IE) with Windows, so don’t be surprised if at least one security bulletin affects IE. I’m also guessing that one or more of the Office updates will correct the unpatched Excel vulnerabilities I mentioned a few weeks ago. WatchGuard Wire: RSS Feed | WatchGuard Technologies, Inc.
